About the Instructor

 

For nearly two decades, I built my career in the motion picture industry, where I spent 19 years learning that success comes from preparation, precision, teamwork, and the ability to solve complex problems under pressure. Every production presented new challenges that required creativity, adaptability, and clear communication—skills that continue to shape the way I teach today.

 

Following my time in film, I spent the next 23 years in Information Technology, helping organizations solve technical problems, streamline processes, and develop practical solutions for complex systems. Technology taught me to think analytically, break difficult concepts into understandable steps, and create repeatable methods that produce consistent results.

 

I don't have a wall full of tournament medals, and I haven't spent decades teaching at a pickleball club. What I do have is more than forty years of solving problems in two industries where figuring things out really matters—the Hollywood Movie Industry and Information Technology. Those careers taught me how to take complicated ideas, break them down into simple, practical steps, and help people succeed.

 

Today, I bring the best of both worlds to pickleball instruction. The creativity and communication developed in the motion picture industry, combined with the analytical problem-solving skills refined through decades in IT, allow me to see the game differently. Rather than simply teaching players what to do, I focus on helping them understand why things happen on the court and how to solve the challenges they encounter during play.

Whether you're learning the fundamentals, improving your strategy, or preparing for tournament competition, my goal is to provide practical, easy-to-understand instruction that builds confidence, improves decision-making, and helps you enjoy the game at a higher level. Every player has challenges to overcome, and together we'll develop the skills and strategies to solve them—one point at a time.
